Hi LINKS!
Happy almost-weekend! You all have had a great week with the boys. I continue to love seeing the great relationships that are being formed. You all are stepping up in huge ways!
I love to see how you are helping to correct the boys with love and not allow them to step all over you. Remember to keep those expectations high! They are totally capable of doing things themselves. Sometimes they may need a little extra help, but remember that you are there to assist, not do it for them! (Don't worry, I am guilty of this a lot too!) Some of the boys know how to take advantage of your extra help- beware!
A special thank you to those of you who were able to make it out to see the cross country meet this week. The smile on that boy's face was enough for me to know that he loved having us there! What a great experience! If you couldn't make it, no big deal. I totally understand that we all are very busy!
This week we talked about therapies and early interventions. We got through OT, Speech and Behavioral therapies. I have copied and pasted the list below for you to continue to look up and learn about some of the other therapies out there. Don't forget to check the homework tab to see what you need to do with this information!
