Welcome to the LINKS Website! I hope you found everything okay. Please take notice of the different webpage links above. The ones that you will use the most are the "Blog" and the "Homework" tabs. Please let me know if you have any questions about the website.
Just a reminder that our first meeting together will be next week Wednesday, January 28. This meeting will take place during 2nd hour and will be in computer lab 13. You will get your slip from the office on Monday (be listening when Mrs. Hearn calls your name!). Also, remember that it will be your job to speak with your 2nd hour teacher about what you will be missing during that hour.
Last week you received a few different important papers for LINKS. In this packet are the instructions for homework this week (which will always be posted on this website), your syllabus for this semester that needs to be signed by your parents and finally, I showed you the weekly attendance sheet. You will need to pick up your own weekly attendance sheet from my room each week. Again, if you are with me during your hour, I do not need to sign the sheet. If you are out in a different class with your peer, then you will need the sheet signed by that teacher. Let me know if you have any questions about the information that I gave you or the homework.
Part of your homework this week is to re-watch (or watch for the first time!) the Carly video. I also would like you to respond to this blog post by answering a few questions.
- What do you think about the Carly video?
- What is your favorite extracurricular activity (or your favorite thing to do outside of school)?
- What is your favorite class?
- How many siblings do you have?
- What are you most excited about for LINKS?
Have a great first week with the boys! As always, please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. I am here to help guide you through these first few nerve-wracking days. You all are doing GREAT, so don't worry about a thing. I promise, it will get easier! (I have the same unsure feelings as you do every single September!)
